​Melchior Huurdeman visits composer Celia Swart. She lives a short distance from the Royal Conservatory in The Hague. She will graduate this year.
She lives, works and sleeps in one room. Together with a collection of plants, her electric piano, a laptop and her saxophone. When she composes, she pushes the dining table next to the piano, creating her ideal working corner. Celia Swart plays a fragment of her latest composition for the Royal Concertgebouw Orchestra and talks about tall buildings and a major seventh. How romantic is it to sleep next to your piano?
